Hello from Terri and Art Cattell, custodians of Chipperfield Alpacas. We are based in Miranda and have been here since July 2011. Our herd has grown from four pet boys to over thirty animals with several births (unpacking) imminent.

Our land is not the best for grass, a lot has recently been reclaimed and is still being reclaimed from gorse. On the plus side, we do not seem to get many FE spores and the hilly nature keeps our alpacas fit.

Our alpacas have access to about 12 acres of pasture, the majority quite steep with interwoven flats. We allocate the various mobs at least 2 paddocks, so they can move around and collect at the various meeting points for coffee!
